Can both 2.5G ports on the ax-router like ax88upro be set as LAN ports under firmware 3006? Previously, in 3004, one 2.5G port was fixed as a WAN port, except in AP mode.

I think not. I tried configuring Dual WAN to use Ethernet LAN2 for Primary WAN, and USB for secondary WAN (not installed), in order to free up the 2.5G/1G WAN port for LAN use... and the firmware would not let me proceed without using the 2.5G/1G WAN port as one of the dual WAN options. So, the 2.5G/1G WAN port must be used for WAN in Router Mode... best I can tell.
