2 Routers 1 Network

New Around Here
I have got a RT-AC3200 router that is the main router in my home. It is connected to my broadband line via a ethernet modem. The RT-AC3200 is on Merlin firmware and provides various network services on my LAN such as DHCP, and VPN connections.

I have acquired an ASUS 4G-AC55U router which I am hoping to integrate into my network as a back up incoming line when my broadband line goes down. The 4G-AC55U has a 4G sim card in it. I have various issues with carrier grade NAT that I am working through at the moment but hopefully a VPN provider with a fixed IP address should solve that problem.

My RT-AC3200 is on a 192.1680.x network so that all of the devices on the LAN are given 192.168.0.x addresses.

I would like the 4G-AC55U to sit on it's own network/subnet (?) but be able to communicate with the 192.168.0.x devices. I don't intend on using the 4G-AC55U as a back up or failover device - just for an alternate incoming line if I cannot connect through my usual methods via the boradband line.

I am a bit of a networking novice and need some guidance. If I give the 4G-AC55U device an IP address of 192.168.1.1 can it still communicate with the 192.168.0.x devices?

I am sorry for what may appear to be a simple question but I would really value any sensible help with this question.
