Is it possible to share 2x 2TB discs in none raid0 mode, to achieve 4TB? Do not want to run Raid0. To big a risk for failure.
 
You can run each drive as a separate volume. That is the safest way to avoid data loss from drive failure.
 
Basic mode treats each drive as a separate volume.
