New Around Here
I have two rt-n56u units. I recently updated the firmware on both units to version 3.0.0.4.334. When doing this, noticed that WPA was no longer supported in bridge mode. I set both routers to an open network and disabled security, but I am still unable to bridge the two devices using wireless.

Has anybody had any success with getting internet access on their second router wireless?

Also, will AES encryption be returning to bridge mode for these devices?

I've heard that reverting the firmware to back to version 1.0.xxxx can brick the router. Trying to avoid that if possible, but I stupidly upgraded for the promise of better QOS and IPv6 when the old firmware was working just fine (Version 1.0.1.7c )

I upgraded from 1.0.1.4 to a beta .321 that everyone was raving about. It's the same BS from asus. They can't make a decent stable fw.

I downgraded back to 1.0.1.4. No problems, and I didn't do anything special.

Router shopping as we speak.
