I have a RT-AC56U with the current Merlin build 380.66 Beta and having problems connecting. I copied the settings exactly as posted as below.

My OpenVPN log is
Fri May 05 10:40:57 2017 OpenSSL: error:0906D06CEM routinesEM_read_bio:no start line
Fri May 05 10:40:57 2017 OpenSSL: error:140AD009:SSL routines:SSL_CTX_use_certificate_fileEM lib
Fri May 05 10:40:57 2017 Cannot load inline certificate file
Fri May 05 10:40:57 2017 Exiting due to fatal error

Any idea whaT I am doing wrong?

There is something wrong with certificates. Check them.

With 380.65 release, I found I must specify compression. None did not work for me. I went with LZ4 Adaptive. You will need to export a new ovpn file and install on the client vpn software config directory.
