3g Connection will not stop after taking over

When my internet connection goes down (not that often but annoying when it does) the 3g usb modem (a Vodaphone K4505 or E172 ) successfully takes over and gives me a good constant 5Mb connection . The problem being that it does not automatically switch off and go back to my broadband connection when it comes back online. Has anyone any suggestions ? ( 3 provide my usb modem connection)

I know it's a known issue when using DualWAN with my custom firmware. Are you experiencing it with the original Asus firmware? If so, then it means the recovery doesn't work with the basic USB failover feature either. I assume you are already running the latest (220) firmware version?

I am using the latest Asus firmware (220). Can the problem not be solved?

Probably needs to be reported to Asus then.
