4g usb modem on RT-AC68U, exposed to other devices in the network?

Is it possible to connect 4G usb modem, configure it as a secondary WAN and then use it to send SMS notifications from a different computer (such as HA server) ?
 
Basically solved the issue using ssh.

HA automation will run a script with AT commands, containing number and message I would like to send to.
