5Ghz constant speed dropping

Peje

New Around Here
Hi.
I have the rt-ac66u 1750.
I set it up so that all ordinary surfing from various computers and mobile phones are done over the 2.4Ghz and it runs fine in all aspects.
The 5Ghz is reserved for streaming hd content from one of my computers to my mediaplayer. Since connecting that computer to the router wired is more or less impossible due to walls etc I have equipped it with the Ausu PCE-AC66 for maximum capacity and speed.

The problem is that when i set it up and restart the router i get perfect speed and stability - according to the pce-ac66 utility i have 1300 Mbps and i have also made sure by using the inssider software that i dont have any other overlapping or interfering networks but over time ( a day or two) the speed constantly drops according to the ac66 utility down to about 433 Mbps.
As soon as i restart the router i instantly get 1300 Mbps again over the 5Ghz wifi.

I know after reading on the net that the latest asus firmware did decrease the speeds somewhat but this cant be normal. Have tried with all possible firmware and are now running Merlins latest but the problem is the same.
Anyone having any ideas ?

When watching a BDiso on my mediaplayer (Mede8er 600x3d) it runs perfect as long as the speed of the 5Ghz is between 850 to 1300 Mbps but when it goes under that i get pixel problems in the movie.

I now seen that i have posted this int the wrong place and that i t should have been posted in the forum for ac-rt66u. However i don't know how to move it there so i hope you can forgive me and I'll make sure i post things in the correct place next time
