No, but why? Most replacement antennas on eBay are fake. Just longer plastic. If they are real, your router will lose above/below coverage.
 
Shouldn't be an issue. They cover the RF frequency by design. It may affect how the RF is broadcast and received though due to the pattern changes going from say 3.5db to 9db.

When I was running an internal AC2600 card to serve WIFI to clients I hooked up some antennae that are about a foot or so long to push things to the limits and can also use them to pull signal and sniff WIFI signals from over a block away.

For pickier RF bands then using specific antennae matter more if you're trying to hit 100/400/800 mhz bands reliably.
