802.3ad 8-port switch for home power user?

Hi all,

First time poster, long time reader.

I have a small home network that I am looking at upgrading from 10/100 to a proper gigabit network.

I have 3 PC, 1 PS3, 1 N4100PRO NAS, DSL-604T Modem/router.

I want to use an 8 port switch with 802.3ad support so I can take advantage of the duel LAN ports on the N4100PRO.

My question is: Are there any soho/home switches that can support link aggregation (802.3ad).

As I understand this is not normally associated with home use. If there is no option do you think there could be something release with 802.3ad in the near future??

No experience with this product, but it does support 802.3AD.

Hello!

I found this thread in looking for a small switch that supports 802.3ad.

In looking at the specs for the Rosewill, I can't see that it officially supports IEEE 802.3ad. @Zoidberg79, did you have any luck with this switch in your application?

The smallest/cheapest switch that I can find that supports are these...

Has anyone else had luck finding a small "desktop" sized router that supports this protocol?

The HP ProCurve 1800-8G switch supports 802.3ad, also NetGear has models that support it.
