Windows Sockets registry entries required for network connectivity are missing.

Only fix is to pull the plug on 87U.

Am I stuck with this annoyance?

That's an operating system error, likely unrelated to the router.

Thank you for that, ubimea. I've done that, so will wait to see if fixed. If not, I'll do the manual routine. Will report back.
