I connected to my AC88U running 484.4_2 and when I did the following appeared in the system log.

Apr 6 22:4910 Mastiff: Got AAE_SIG_EULA_FLAG_SIGNED
Apr 6 22:4910 Mastiff: Got AAE_SIG_REMOTE_CONNECTION_TURNED_ON
Apr 6 22:4910 Mastiff: select error

Does anyone know what this means? I’m assuming the first one has something to do with a EULA, but the second one seems to imply it enabled some kind of remote connection feature.

There is an option in the app, but it’s turned off. Also the router is still showing WAN web access is disable, but then what does AAE_SIG_REMOTE_CONNECTION_TURNED_ON mean?

I found both of the above listed at https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-me...e616b8bb37/release/src/router/aaews/mastiff.h but I still don’t know what it’s used for. I don’t know what Mastiff is.

AFAIK, it is part of Aicloud.
Maybe IFTTT and Alexa also use it if your router support their features.
