AC3200 cfe flash from US to EU

My Asus ac3200 came with 2.0.0.3 cfe which I replaced with the US cfe. I have erased the nvram and tried reverting to 2.0.0.3 as US version is missing several channels.

I'm using v3 mtdwrite which worked from EU to US but not in the opposite direction.

Any ideas what could be the issue?

You probably should not have done that - you are kinda stuck depending on what FW you flashed to...

It was on merlin 380.61 when I flashed the US cfe. However downgraded to 378.50 as I only can see four 5GHZ band A channels listed.ie 36-48.

I tried the method that Vortex mentioned, whereby you could make changes directly to the cfe through the firmware using nvram set asuscfe0:ccode=SG etc and all cccodes and regrev do get set but I still only see four channels after doing an nvram reset. Which is why I wanted to revert back to my original EU cfe.
