I have several usb drives attached to my AC56U router.
1 x 2TB drive on the 3.0 port
3 x 2TB drives & 1 x usb 64gb stick (optware) on a 7port hub on the 2.0 port.
Via jffs/config/fstab I mount all hard drives (except the usb stick) r/o during boot up.
Only when I need to move/delete stuff,I mount the drive in question in r/w mode.
When I use :
mount -o remount,rw LABEL="drive" /mnt/drive
to change the mount flags,all other attached drives spin up as well.
Is there a way to prevent this,so only the drive I remount spins up ??
