Hi All,

unfortunately as per thread's title, one of the 3 antenna on my ac66u is broken. There is some way to deactivate the broken one and keep using the other 2 or definitely the router is not reliable anymore and I have to replace it?
I'm running the latest Merlin's FW.

Thanks :-)

You can't. You will have to find a replacement antenna.

Unfortunately it is not the antenna itself to be broken, but the connector on the mainboard...my Son has managed to do that, don't ask how :-)
This is the reason I've asked if there is a way to disable it.
Do you think I can still use it with 2 antennas only?

You probably could but range will be drastically affected and the radios may run hot because of the mismatch (SWR). Might be time to break down and buy another router.

Hi,
If OP is handy, broken part can be repaired using epoxy and new replacement connector, etc. Not really an impossible task.

If he wants to try using it broken, might want to turn off both beam forming options and disable 5ghz if not in use
