Lending out my AC66U (note to self: don't do that again) resulted in one of the antennas being loose. To avoid taking it apart unnecessarily, I'm looking for group experience.
The amount of looseness is such that it will not hold its position when rotated over 45 degrees from vertical. If not that far it will stay in place, possibly moving if you jostle the unit.
Question: is there much risk of a broken or compromised connection to the antenna internally in this situation?
There is no obvious degradation in performance within 20 feet. Further testing was not done - that would be outside and the weather doesn't permit it (at least having much fun doing so).
Thanks for any insight.
