Reboots itself every 1-3 days.
Currently running merlin 380.69_2

Started failing on Merlin RT-AC66U_380.70_0 long after updating it.
Have tried stock from ASUS FW_RT_AC66U_300438251641
Have tried merlin fork RT-AC66U_374.43_41E6j9527 using the restoration utility
reset to factory defaults on each

no usbs
stable UPS power
tried with hardware acceleration on and off
ethernet jacked directly to cable modem

log just before restart looks like this, nothing special

Is it time to take ole bessy behind the barn?
Would it be usable as a wired access point?

Tell her how much you love her and it's you, not her... :)

Try to change power plug could help, something 15-20V with 2A should do as you have nothing to loose with this old router - otherwise time to say good-bye!

Unplug it from UPS and directly plug it in to AC wall socket.

Try new AC power adapter.

If all fails, 3 point shot from half the court in to trash can.
