AC68R can't determine USB3.0 Drive

I just got my AC68R from Bestbuy ( whats the difference between AC68U and AC68R ?)
For AC68R, the new FW 3.0.0.4.374_205 was upload to Asus website today, and my router has the new 3.0.0.4.374_205. I have disable the "Reducing USB 3.0 Interference", and the router shows there is no external HD. I also tried enable the "Reducing USB 3.0 Interference", the rounter still can't find my external HD.
Did I get a dead router?

USB3 disk detection is quite broken in 205. If you want to make sure it's not a defective USB port, try with an old plain USB2 flash drive, while USB3 interference reduction is set to "disabled".

yea, I think 205 has a serious USB3.0 issue. when "Reducing USB 3.0 interference" is disabled.
1. I put my usb3.0 dirve in to USB2.0 port, the router can find the drive.
2. I put it back to USB 3.0 port again, router can't find the drive.
3. Plug a USB 3.0 flash Drive to USB 3.0 port, the router can find the USB3.0 flash drive.

my external HD is Seatage FreeAgent GoFlex, it works under my old N56u and returned NetGear R7000.
Well, I can only say " I will wait" and I am impressed that AC68U can set 3 guests network for each 2.4G and 5G and I think I could only set 1 guest network with R7000.
