AC86U - SSH Disabled few seconds after boot - 386.14.

Hi all, I'm with merlin 386.14 and since a couple of weeks I cannot access anymore SSH.
If I reboot, I have access for few seconds but after that is stops the connection.

I can access my Web-if as usual and everything seems working as expected a part the fact that some script like the the reboot e-mail notification are not anymore doing their job (this is why I discovered the issue).

I suspescted a hack and I tried to change the Admin password but the router di not recognise anymore the original password even if the same could be used to access SSH (for very short time) and to access Web-if.

I made a full dip restore of factory settings and after that restored a backup from July which was quite stable.
Everything has been good for 1 week but now again the same issue even if now I can change the password in the Admin page.

I checked the post mount in the Jffs but I do not see anything strange:
Code:
#!/bin/sh
swapon /tmp/mnt/Entware/myswap.swp # Added by amtm
. /jffs/addons/amtm/mount-entware.mod # Added by amtm
# cru a sa1 "*/10 * * * * /opt/lib/sysstat/sa1 600 1 -S DISK"
# cru a sa2 "59 23 * * * /opt/lib/sysstat/sa2 -A"
/jffs/scripts/spdmerlin startup "$@" & # spdMerlin

What can be the issue ?

I'm on the way to reset again the device but I suspect that someone is hacking the my router even if I do not see any evident issue within the net a part the missing SSH.

I have a DDNS and may be someone can track my IP even if it chages quite frequently frommy ISP.

Thanks in advance to whom will provide a feedback

Edit: It seems that the last update 386.14-2 has solved the issue. Possibly associated to a fixed security issue.

Hi,

I've the same issue working with 386.14 firmware (AC-86U) and previous firmware, ssh not working. working only a few seconds after rebooting. I've also a nginx server installed which no more work too at the same time.

The only way to "repair" I've found is to reinstall the firmware, even exactly the same version. This works but after a few weeks, it fail again. I've not yet tried the 386.14-2, I will install it and check if this solve the issue.

I've also some ports opened, openvpn and my nginx server (even on some "strange" ports).

I had exactly the same behaviour. 386.14-2 solved the problem.
