AC87U Can't Turn Off Mac Clone

I used Mac Clone on the router to get a new IP address from my modem, now I can't disable Mac Clone. Prior to messing with this, the Mac Clone field was always blank, so now if I remove the mac address and apply I have no Internet Connection. I even hard reset the router and it will not connect if don't enable Mac Clone. I just want to turn it off as I got a new IP address, now I just want to go back to normal usage.

Please Advise.

Edit I think the soultion is to:

• Power off the cable modem first
• Clear the Mac Clone Field and Apply
• Power on the cable modem

Please correct me if I am wrong I have not tried it yet.

Yes you need to power off the modem first.
