Accessing router without ethernet

how do i access the router if i do not have an ethernet cable from my tablet
lets say i do a factory reset,all my wifi settings will be lost and i have to somehow find a way to access the gui and do the wifi network setup again.
can using usb solve this?

Hi,
You know default values of factory reset. Using that, you can get into router on wireless.
 
Router is openly accessible over wireless when in factory default state. The SSID will be "Asus".
