After reset, devices still connect to old SSID.

New Around Here
Hello!

I have an ASUS RT-AC3100 with the newest firmware. I had over 50 devices connected through wire or wifi and decided to do a factory reset and reconnect everything.

I reconfigured the router with a new SSID and differnt password.

Much to my surprise, many of my devices reconnected to the router with the new reconfiguration without updating their settings. The Network Map shows, for example that my Nintendo switch connected right away.

When I open the network settings of the Switch, it shows to be connected to the old SSID and communicates to the internet fine. When I open network settings on my phone, (Galaxy Note S10+) both the old and new SSID's are listed, and I can connect to both!

There is no wifi range extender or repeater..

Thanks!
