I have a quick question regarding 5Ghz clients and AI Mesh. I have an AC88u serving as the master and a AC68u serving as the node using 5Ghz as wireless backhaul. I've noticed only the 2.4Ghz clients bounce between the master and node. All 5Ghz clients (even ones 3 feet away from my node) stay connected to the master and never connect to the node. Is this to minimize traffic on 5Ghz for the backhaul? Seems kind of pointless to have a mesh network for 2.4Ghz clients only.

My clients all bounce around on all frequencies. Is it all your clients or one in particular that maybe is not very good at roaming (some clients ignore routers suggestions etc).
