AiCloud app issue

Hi all. I was hoping I can get some help with the AiCloud app from Asus.

I'm running an AC68U with the latest Merlin build and a WD My Passport Ultra 2TB USB 3.o drive hooked up to it. Everything on it works, including drive spin down and downloadmaster, however when I try to set up the AiCloud app on my iPhone, it shows the drive, but when I tap on it, it says that it's "Not Found". I can access the drive via the Asus website on my iPhone or computer, but for some reason I can't access it via the AiCloud app. It happens over wifi or the cellular network. I did some testing and found then when I hook up a USB 2.0 drive, the app can access it no problem.

Is this a problem with the USB 3.0 drive or is there something that I'm missing?
 
If you were to ask Asus they would say that Merlin's firmware is not supported by the app and that you should revert to Asus stock firmware. So bear in mind that it's just possible that is the cause of the problem. Although clearly your USB 2.0 drive gives you reason for optimism. Could you perhaps test some other USB 3.0 drives to see if the drive is the problem?
 
I have the same problem with the stock Asus firmware. Good idea about trying another USB 3.0 drive, never thought of that.
