aimesh compatiblity zenwifi and expertwifi

I have two XD6 pre-synced working, added 3rd node ExpertWifi EBR63. EBR63 reset itselft to factory settings after while. XD6 shows EBR63 offline.

XD6 firmware : 3.0.0.4.388_23813-g97c4c91
EBR63 firmware : 3.0.0.6.102_44547-g878921f_380-ge752c_sec

Aimesh connected via wifi. All devices within 10-15 feet range.

Any suggestion to make the network stable.

Even though both use AiMesh at the core - this is not guaranteed to work in a long term. Different product lines with different target group, different firmware development branches with different final goal. Compatibility between them is not something Asus is after. In addition the new 3006 firmware versions come with AiMesh architecture change and your XD6 running 3004 firmware may never get this update.

True, I swapped the role making EBR63 as primary. AiMesh shows Satellite disconnected, wifi scan shows 2.4GHz radio still available. Ping/Telnet works on 2.4GHz.

Asus never guaranteed any compatibility between ExpertWiFi and ZenWiFi anyway.
