AImesh with GT-AX11000 + RT-AX88U + 2x XT8

Could do with some feedback concerning the following setup:

1. AX88U as router to 100/40Mbit VDSL network (implemented and works well) / Will be the AImesh router
2. AX11000 as an AImesh node in office connecting via 2.5G LAN to QNAP 10G switch (main area of machines connecting... lots of wifi6 clients so want the 2.5G connectivity) / AImesh node
3. XT8 with 1G backhaul in livingroom / AImesh node
4. XT8 with 5GHz-2 backhaul in bedroom / AImesh node

Now my questions:

1. can a AX11000 run as just a well connected AP in the AImesh without the router port being connected?
2. has anyone maxed out the AX11000 2.5G LAN port with a wifi6 160MHz client(s) ie. can it run at line speed?
