Quick question i have heard SSID's dont like certain characters in them can someone say for sure if ( ) is acceptable? Thanks Jim !!

What is the purpose of using fancy or too unique SSID? Think it'll improve security?
The characters I would try to stay away from, as many AP's are based in Linux, and may either have busybox or bash installed

& Background execution
( ) Command grouping
| Pipe
* ? [ ] ~ Filename metacharacters
{ } String expansion characters. Usually don't require quoting.
> < & ! Redirection symbols
! ^ History substitution, quick substitution
" ' \ Using in quoting other characters
$ Variable substitution
newline space tab Word separators
