I have IoT devices sending UDP broadcast packets to 255.255.255.255 to ports 10002, 20002 & 20003 and I'd like to make a device on my br0 interface listen to those packets so it can control them through Home Assistant.
I've installed YazFi and enabled communication with the guests and have confirmed that by pinging the guest device and getting a reply from it.
I've tried to add an iptables rule to the YazFiFORWARD to forward said ports but looking in Wireshark, those packets still do not reach my br0 hosts.

You may want to look at the custom firewall rule scripting for YazFi to see if it will accomplish what you seek if the one-way or two way to guest options in the YazFi GUI or CLI doesn't accomplish what you seek. There are various discussions on using custom firewall rules scripting to allow traffic to/from the main LAN and the YazFi Guest clients. May take some experimenting and one may want to use Guest #2 and or #3 instead if one has problems with Guest #1 due to how the Asus firmware treats Guest #1.

Edit to add: Also do a subforum search, if you haven't already, for YazFI and Home Assistant. There may be additional discussion to be found on using Home Assistant with YazFi:
