Anyone tried RT-AX55 + RP-AC51 in AiMesh?

When i was looking for a new router (ca. 2 years ago) you helped me and ive bought RT-AX55 and im uber happy!!

So its time to get rid of my range extender (TL-MR3020 from TP-Link). By the way its good as a travel router, have a lot of options but its time to switch to something AiMesh compatible.

RP-AC51 range extender a good choice? Or it's better to search for AC55 version?

Thx for help!

The RP-AC51 is not a choice as it doesn't support AiMesh. Have you seen something that says it does?

Range extender product only supports AiMesh node, not support Primary AiMesh.

Range extender support models: RP-AX56,RP-AC55,RP-AC1900

Its from Asus mainsite. So the question is the AC-51 is working as AiMesh node (long story short is it possible to control that node/extender from my router level or its not working like that?)

As the AC-51 isn't in the list of range extenders that support AiMesh it's unlikely that it is working as an AiMesh node.
