Anyone using the iPhone Router app with the AC3100?

I am trying to investigate a problem that I am having using the ASUS iPhone Router app with the AC3100. Basically it just won't connect to the router, it just loops for ever after authentication.

So If you use the iPhone router app with the AC3100 and it works or does not work for you, I would appreciate knowing that. If by chance you have an Android version of the router App and if it does not work for you with the AC3100 I would also appreciate knowing that.

OK, ASUS answer was to install the latest firmware. The router showed that it was running the latest firmware. Turns out, that was not actually the case. There were two newer versions of firmware. After installing the latest version available for download, the Router app now works.

Yes, using the 'check for new firmware' button within the gui is not the recommended method for confirming you are running the latest.

Always (always) manually check the Asus download pages for your router instead.
