Are there unmanaged switches that support LACP?

Is such a thing even possible, for the switch to automatically determine that 2 ports are connected to the same LACP supporting device at the other end? Or does bridging always need to be manually configured?

I see many places that list this and spanning trees as advantages of managed switches, but I know the latter isn't true, because my current $20 unmanaged switch, among others, support spanning trees.

Thats not really how it works. Unmanaged switches will never support vlans, LACP, QoS, etc. They do route those things based on the rules but can never support them for active configurations.

LACP has many modes, some are switch dependent, some not.

Your unmanaged switch supports STP, but it doesnt support STP configuration (to test, simply connect a cable to itself).
