Hi

Does anyone have any experience with this newer SNB solution from Aruba? There are very few reviews and I know only the classic Aruba AP / IAPs which work in the controller or instant mode.

I could get two APs with NFR-Discount and I'm wondering if it's worth a try replacing my one and only Asus Router running in AP-Mode to gain better coverage.

As far as I'm aware they're basically running the same ArubaOS underneath a much more simplified "skin" targeted at SMB self-service users. Could be quite a deal if the product is rock-solid. Do report back to us if you end up giving them a shot!

Hi, Aruba Instant On APs rely on the same HW as Aruba Instant APs (enterprise model), but with an OS and a Software that have been adapted for Small Businesses. The advantages are: simplicity, reliability and price affordability. You can put up to 25 APs in a cluster, and management can be done via a Mobile App or a Cloud web access. New OS releases come in average every 8 weeks and bring interesting features (see last one here https://community.arubainstanton.com/t5/Blogs/What-s-New-in-Aruba-Instant-On-Release-1-3/ba-p/942).
