Asus AC3200 any plans for AIMESH?

I read long back they were or are planning to enable AIMESH for this router model as well?

Is this correct, or am i just getting my hopes high?

Would be nice to have a true tri band with 1 dedicated radio for the backhaul.I think thats the closest it gets compared to a Orbi, or Velop etc.

Thanks!

Good question , I have 3 AC3200 and would sure like to try AImesh on at least one .

Yes i am really looking forward to it , the AC86U costs almost twice of AC3200 IDK why..and i surely hope as i logically think - the dedicated backhaul on one of the 2 5GHz radios should give better stability / reliability to aimesh.

I wonder why asus is not bringing it over to it sooner.
