Sorry for newbie questions.

I just switched from Netgear to Asus WiFi router. And it seems to be that Netgear's ReadyCloud to be a little bit convenient than Asus? Or I didn't explore the full potential of Asus yet?

For example:
1) NetGear ReadyCloud can create shared link with password protection. I was not able to figure out how to do that with Asus AiCloud.
2) NetGear ReadyCloud has "access notification" option, which will send me an email whenever the share is accessed. In the notification email, it even includes IP address and geo-location of the accessing computer.
3) NetGear ReadyCloud does not expose your IP or dns name, for example https://readycloud.netgear.com/client/browselink.html#t=1eypm5emm6bhe1lnt8skm7pi3qo/Videos. While Asus has to expose your DNS name, for example https://myname.asuscomm.com/AICLOUD1017325396/Files.

Also, for local share (SAMBA), Netgear makes the root folder of the USB drive as a shared folder. That way, I can easily use Windows file explorer to create/remove folders in the root folder. In contrast, Asus makes each folder in the root folder as individual shares. Thus I have no way to create/remove folders in root folder without using Asus management portal.

Is there any way to do something equivalent with Asus router? Thanks!
