ASUS DDNS Server Error

Latest Merlin FW 3004.388.8_4, tried other firmware but same results, rebooted router, also modem, nothing helped.
I can still access the router remotely using the ASUS DDNS name but worried about the Inactive and Server Error issue... also the router rebooted automatically when it happened...
How can this be resolved?

Fixed it, had Asusnat tunnel disabled, now everything is working again...

I have an ASUS GT-AX6000 and I cannot find those settings, where they are? do i have to enable some settings to see them?

Look under the Tools > Other Settings section if you are running Asus-Merlin firmware. (Edit to add: see example in attached file.)

It does beg the question as to why you need Asusnat tunnel enabled to use the Asus DDNS servers.

no clue to be honest, I read that it's enabled by default and only Merlin FW allows you to disable, needed for Asus App?

The Asus Router app seems to work here even with Asusnat turned off! But I try not to use the app if I can help it.

same here, never use it, looks sketchy to me.

Last time I checked when NAT tunnel is disabled you can still use the app when within the same network but remote connection will not work.
