Asus DSL AX82U

Good evening everyone, I am a new user of the forum, I would like to ask a question, I was told that it is possible to install the RT AX82U Router Firmware in my Asus DSL AX82U losing the DSL part, I have made several attempts with the Gnuton FW using the Restoration Software, but without any result.

Why do you want to try that instead of simply installing GNUton's DSL-AX82U firmware?
(but 388.7_1-gnuton1 not 388.8_2-gnuton1 apparently as per - https://github.com/gnuton/asuswrt-merlin.ng/issues/700)

I wanted to "transform" my DSL AX82U into a RT AX82U router because I don't use the DSL part having a connection with an FWA ISP (Eolo Italia) also because I like to experiment.

Just use it as a router via its ethernet WAN port.
WAN - Internet Connection / WAN Type -> WAN

Yes of course, I am using the WAN, the discussion was born in an Italian Forum (https://www.hwupgrade.it/forum/showthread.php?t=2928675&page=76)
Where a User claims that it is possible to use the FW of the Asus RT AX82U in the Asus DSL AX82U, in my opinion it is not possible due to the different Hardware issue.
I have asked the question here in your Forum.
