Asus GT AC5300

I purchased this router 2 days ago to work in conjunction with my 2 Asus ac87,s as running as access points. Rather disappointed Mac Filtering and manually assigned IP Address are both limited to 64 Entries. Very disappointing for the money invested. There are 2 5300 models and mine is the rog rapture but I can not tell if the merlin update is for this model or the other and even if the update will increase my entry limits. My needs are simple long range and 128 entry limit. Frustrated to the point of returning the router. Anyassistance would be appreciated.

You need to look at the complete router model. GT-AC5300 (not supported) and RT-AC5300 (supported) are totally different.
