For those of you who are placing a fan directly on top of the router, is it oriented to blow air down into the router or pull air up out of the router?

I confirm it is the best solution

It will work both ways. I would prefer to reverse the natural convection air flow with fan on top blowing in and place a dust filter on fan's intake side. This way both the fan and the router internal components will stay cleaner and the maintenance will be easier.

I have tested the both flow and the configuration with the fan on top of router with blow to the router have a more efficiency.
the opposite configuration have a poor efficiency.

AXE11000 AI mesh doesn't work with latest router firmware. It can not see the reset router with default name.
