ASUS GT-BE98 VPN Server Issues

Hello everyone, I am currently using a ASUS GT-BE98 as a vpn server and test-running it with a TP-Link router vpn client.
I tried opening both PPTP, IPSec servers but my tplink client is stuck on "connecting" to the server.
I had checked the vpn server, client username, password, and also the IPSec PSK. I also opened up a Wireguard server and successfully connected to it but suddenly had speed and ping drops.
I had previously used a tplink server and had no issues with it at all.
Does anyone know what might be the problem?

They each have different IPs designated and my friend also tried to connect but was unsuccessful.

They are both public IPs.
