As RMerlin powered Asus routers are based on Tomato and run Asuswrt code, I doubt it's applicable.

The CVE-2021-20090 vulnerability and if it affects Merlin already been previously discussed in a thread from last month.

All the targeted devices run a different firmware, none of these are Asuswrt-based.
