Asus Merlin alternative traffic analyzer?

I can't find solid answers on whether or not I can trust Trend Micro's Traffic Analyzer on my RT-AC68U. I'm leaning towards not.

I'm running the latest version of Merlin for my router (384.18), and was wondering if there's an alternative traffic analysis package I could use instead of the stock? One that's more privacy focused.

Any recommendations would be highly appreciated! Thanks!

I think the rumors of Trend Micro being untrustworthy are greatly exaggerated, but from a privacy perspective, it is best to default to not trusting anything. Every time I go camping, there is a period of adjustment to the clean air. I am not used to breathing air that I can't see.
