Does the newest Asus firmware have a IPV6 firewall ? I don't see it in the change log.

IPv6
1. Fixed PPP IPv6 global address retrieval
2. added DHCP-PD option
3. Added LAN DHCPv6 server
4. Added network status GUI.
5. Added option domain name if available

If you're talking about Asus 374.720, I looked for an IPv6 firewall when I tested it, and didn't see one. So I think not. I keep hoping, though.

Asus are notified about my IPv6 firewall implementation. Will be up to their devs to decide if they want to implement it, implement their own, or not at all.

I suspect they might be more focused on fixing existing issues than adding new iss... I mean, new features, at this time ;) The RT-N66U wireless issues were a big priority, as well as stabilizing the firmware for their newest routers.

Thanks for the reply's well then i wil stick with Merlins bata then i want the v6 firewall. Im suprised Asus did not impliment this in there latest build.

I use 6rd with Centurylink. The .720 build has a workable ipv6 implementation. My ipv6 routing has worked since I bought the n66u a year ago. I have gone thru almost all Asus fw including Merlin's. I still have issues with 5ghz wifi but it seems to have improved with Asus' latest build. I use my Centurylink modem as a bridge as it grossly lacks the features of the n66u.

I have had IPV6 native duel stack here for over a year and I definitely want it firewalled. Thanks Merlin !!!
