Which Asus repeater is best to ethernet cable via a switch to my TV,SKY, PS4 etc and 5GHz wifi backhaul to main AX68u router?

Currently use an Asus RP-ac68, which keeps becoming invisible to the main router although still allows clients to access internet! At this point PC running Sky Go can't see the Sky Q box. No new firmware for years... reset the RP and can access GUI from PC on main router and surprise Sky Q can now be used / see Q box.

Was looking at a AX58, but seems wired LAN port is only for backhaul to router, not clients.
AX56 seemed to do this, just older device.

Any thoughts?
Thanks

Just get another AX router and run aimesh. That will let you use the wired ports and manage it from one place.

Or use any of their routers in repeater mode which will also let you use the wired ports.

Their specific repeaters aren't all that common and thus probably not quite as polished (and usually don't have more than 1 or 2 ethernet ports, though not sure what their current offering is). Plus the routers have better antennas and radios typically.

If you only need ethernet (not wireless other than the backhaul), run the router in media bridge mode, which will dedicate the wifi for backhaul and physical ports for local connections. That should give you better speed. But aimesh may be the simplest setup and speeds should still be good depending on distance (try to use 5ghz if within range).
