Release ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_36422 (2025/10/28)

I forget to mention that also ,but on 2.4GHz OFDMA/MU-MIMO is disabled by defaults
My apologies for not being clear as I was on my phone, and not easy for me to type a lot...

The way I see it there are two possibilities, 2.4 is no longer broadcasting, or the devices can not see the broadcast. Since you mention specifically Sonos I suspect that it is still broadcasting.

IF it is off, please try turning it on.

Ok, il try it but I found that both the router and client device must support Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard to utilize OFDMA/MU-MIMO on 2.4GHz which isn't the case with Sonos Arc (because its only 2.4GHz N device)

Hmm. I'm sorry again. Here are some settings per ASUS to improve backwards compatibility:

Thank you. I won't blame Asus because Sonos WiFi support is obnoxious. Everything works fine except Sonos Arc experience drop out. I need to use UTP cable to configure Sonos for WiFi ,real voodoo mumbo jumbo stuff .

3.0.0.6.102_36488 was just released today 3/16/2026:

ASUS GT-AXE16000 Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_36488
Version 3.0.0.6.102_36488
62.14 MB 2026/03/16
SHA-256 :8F0781FD02EF3E37DABBAF8782802513BEC4E583BD5258F8CF289D553995A835
Security: Strengthened input sanitization mechanism

If these release notes are complete, once again the AXE16000 gets left out. Every other router getting tons of fixes and improvements, and the AXE16000 gets basically nothing, and late.

It's a good router because it's one of the last quad band US/Canada market ASUS routers with 2x 5GHz bands as the Wi-Fi 7 non pro ones aren't available in the US/Canada.
