My Asus ZenWifi AX (XT8) shows a red light and the GUI shows that it is not connected to the Internet. This while I am typing this message on the forum; obviously, something magical is going on.
I am connecting my Asus router to a LAN port of my provider's router and have set up the Asus WAN connection to use DHCP. It does get the correct IP address and DNS addresses.
Does anyone know how Asus determines how it is connected to the Internet so that I can try to replicate the process manually?
