I upgraded from a Netgear router to the Asus Router RT-N66U and have seen a tremendous improvement in signal strength with my other devices around the house.
However I miss one thing that I had on the Netgear Router and that concerns the table in MAC filtering. This table only allows you to enter the MAC address whereas on the Netgear router you had an extra column for putting a more user friendly name to identify the device that was connecting.
These days with the number of devices connecting to a router this is a very useful function and allows you to have more control over the devices listed and delete those devices you know are no longer in use.
I hope Asus in a future firmware upgrade will consider adding an extra column to the MAC filtering table for this purpose.
