Hello all.
I have a shiny new Asus RT-3200 on my desk. I want to flash it with Tomato.
I clear NVRM. Then put the router in rescue mode then using tftp2 I upload the Tomato image. After the upload it goes in to a loop of 'erasing nvram...' then fails 5 times and the tool stops.
When I re-boot I get the stock Asus firmware. Can I flash Tomato from the Asus gui?
Using the Asus rescue tool I get and endless loop of 'finding free IP address' (or close to that. I can ping the router so that error seems odd.
I have tried the pc at 192.168.1.2 and the router at 192.168.1.1.
Something I just noticed. The product ID field in the firmware upgrade tab reports this is a RT-AC5300. Weird.
thanks, Bj
