Asus RT-AC1900P not seeing devices

I just purchased a new RT-AC1900P router set up went fine i have internet and computer hooked up working great but i cant seem to get it to see other devices that i had hooked up to my old router.
Plug in my DVD player and it does not see it. Ran through the DVD process to set up internet and nothing. None of my other devices are working either.
What I did:
1. turned everything off unplug
2. turned on modem
3. turned on router
4. pluged in computer
5. plugged in DVD player
6. ran through DVD player internet set up....nothing says no internet.

Router sees computer but not DVD device or any other device.
WIFI works fine

Maybe its my ISP. I will try there. Sorry kinda a newb
If i plug in divice directly to modem i can get it too work

Am i missing something on set up?
Thanks getting ready to return it and get something else

what are the IP addresses of the devices, both seen and not seen ?
Are the unseen devices set up to use DHCP or have static addresses ?

wireless or wired ?
