Asus RT-AC5300 and Fritz 7590

Right now i have the Asus RT-AC5300 and the Fritz box 7590(sadly not a real bridge mode, just passthrough).

My question is how should i use the two devices for gaming and for max low latency any setups you recommend?

On a DSL connection, it won't matter how you use them. Both are running incredibly old tech right now.

Of course, the most direct connection (wired, only) will be the least worrisome possible, directly from the 7590 (at least in theory).

In practice, test it yourself while gaming and decide then.
