Asus RT-AC5300 with 3 Asus Lyra in AiMesh with Merlin possible?

Hi, seem to have problem to find a clear answer to if the above configuration will work. Today I run with stock firmware and with 5300 as central point and mesh to the 3 Lyra. What I want is to update as many units as possible (don't think Merlin works on Lyra though....) to Merlin and keep the AiMesh functionality as is. Is that possible?

Yes it will work.
I have the same setup, but Lyra is not supported by Merlin as you said. You have to update them separately with ASUS official FW and you can do it from the AC-5300 web GUI.
